Outdoor Run++ is an iPhone application designed to monitor and record your outdoor workouts through GPS tracking. It accurately captures data such as distance, time, speed, pace, and calories expended during activities like walking, running, biking, or even driving.

The app boasts the versatility of displaying distance, pace, and speed metrics in both miles and kilometers. Users can seamlessly toggle between these units mid-session by a simple swipe on the distance label.

Additionally, Outdoor Run++ stores a visual map of your travel route and displays markers in either mile or kilometer increments. Users have the option to pinpoint specific locations using the "Mark" feature to analyze distances and corresponding times.

For those engaged in multi-part workouts, Outdoor Run++ offers a seamless "Start," "Pause," and "Resume" function to sequentially track each section. Upon completion, a detailed breakdown of the workout sections is conveniently presented under "Workout Splits."

Moreover, the app provides HealthKit access allowing users to grant permissions for essential health data such as birth date, gender, weight, and height. These details are solely utilized for calorie computations. Choosing not to share this data will preserve the application's full range of functionalities except for calorie estimations.

It is essential to note that continuous GPS usage in the background has the potential to significantly impact battery performance.
